Quality Assurance Gemologist

Overview
In advanced manufacturing, quality isn't a final check, it's built into every step. As a Quality Engineer, you'll own the standard every unit is held to and the systems that prove it was met.
The role
You'll design inspection processes, manage traceability, and keep tolerances tight from first article through full-rate production. You make every part is good something we can prove, not just claim.
What you'll do
Build inspection and quality plans, manage first-article and in-process verification, and own the traceability and documentation that stands up to an audit. You'll work with vision and manufacturing to catch issues at the line, not after.
What you'll bring
A background in manufacturing quality, experience with inspection and traceability, and fluency with audit-ready documentation. You're rigorous, detail-driven, and you understand that in our work, close enough doesn't exist.
Bonus points
Experience in regulated industries like aerospace, familiarity with GD&T, or work with automated inspection systems.
Why Precept
We operate our own manufacturing layer because absolute control over the specification is the only way to bypass retail. You will work on bespoke pieces that ship globally, alongside a team that designs, casts, and sets everything in-house. We build to exact tolerances, and we build to last.
