Overview
Our cells inspect every part, not a sample, and that's only possible because of machine vision. As a Machine Vision Engineer, you'll build the perception that lets a line see, locate, and verify each unit in real time.
The role
You'll develop vision and sensor systems for guidance and inspection, from camera and lighting selection through the algorithms that catch a defect at line speed. Your work turns we think it's good into every unit is verified.
What you'll do
Design and deploy vision systems for part location and quality inspection, tune for line speed and reliability, and integrate perception with robot motion and controls. You'll build for the messy reality of a factory floor, not a lab.
What you'll bring
Experience with industrial machine vision and inspection, cameras, optics, lighting, and the software behind them. You understand the tradeoffs between speed and accuracy and how to make a vision system that holds up shift after shift.
Bonus points
Experience with 3D vision, deep-learning-based inspection, or high-speed applications. Familiarity with robot guidance is a plus.
Why Precept
We operate our own manufacturing layer because absolute control over the specification is the only way to bypass retail. You will work on bespoke pieces that ship globally, alongside a team that designs, casts, and sets everything in-house. We build to exact tolerances, and we build to last.
